Nick Sharratt, 5 I , has written at least 40 children’s books and illustrated 160 more. His longrunning partnership with Jacqueline Wilson began with The Story of Tracy Beaker in 1991. Their books have sold more than 30 million copies in Britain. His work has also featured in the exhibition, Daydreams and Diaries:The Story of Jacqueline Wilson, at the V&A Museum of Childhood.
Sharratt studied graphic design at St Martin’s School of Art in London and worked as a magazine illustrator for I 0 years before turning to children’s books. His numerous awards include the Children’s BookAward and a Nestle gold prize.
