Lynn Wilson is a designer trained in textiles and fashion.
For the past 10 years she has worked within public sector organisations in Scotland bringing a unique perspective to the development of products and services for complex policy led systems such as town planning and waste management.
This lecture will cover design in the widest sense including product design, service design, co-design, design policy and her own personal research in zero waste design for apparel. It will be in the form of a trend talk exploring the movers, shakers and influencers in sustainable design thinking and also cover some of the key global developments affecting design such as the Circular Economy, Internet of Things, Industry 4.0 and Biomimicry.
