Moira Jeffrey is a journalist and writer based in Glasgow. She is currently art critic of the Scotsman newspaper.
She has written widely on the visual arts for the Scottish broadsheet press as well as The Guardian, and has contributed to a number of specialist art magazines including Tate Magazine, Art Quarterly, Contemporary, Modern Painters, AN and Map. She has written and presented an arts documentary for BBC Scotland, presented a TV essay on Late Review on BBC2 and is a regular talking head on BBC Radios 4, 3 and 2.
In 2014 she edited two books on contemporary art in Scotland for the nationwide GENERATION project published by the National Galleries of Scotland/Glasgow Life. Her short fiction has appeared in the magazine 2HB.
She cares passionately about writing in the arts and teaches Journalism at Glasgow Caledonian University.
