Visualising the Urban
Bridget Steed – Artist, graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 2008 with an MA. Her Art practice documents the fleeting histories and ephemeral landscape of Antarctic islands. As a Production Associate at Rockstar North, Bridget works within an award winning development team creating open world games set in ambitious, virtual urban environments.
Prof Richard Laing – Research Coordinator in Architecture and Built Environment examines techniques for assessing human responses to virtual built environments. These projects including studies into how computer games technology can be used in the design and design evaluation process.
Charlie Hackett – lecturer/researcher Fashion Textiles at Gray’s, works on socially engaged collaborative projects with specialists out with the art & design arena. His work focuses on public health, gender, identity, culture, and the real world social problems related to drug and alcohol addiction. The research tries to examine and explain personal feelings and ideas through using mixed media arts methodologies and visual visualization methods
