Janie Airey is a commercial photographer who has been shooting for around 15 years.
Based out of London but working mostly on location anywhere the job takes her Janie has prodominantly photographed people for Design agencies, Image libraries and for clients such as Air New Zealand, Cancer Research, BBC, Siemens and the RNLI.
After a commission for the 2012 Games by the Olympic Delivery Authority Janie has been more recognized for her Architectural photography. “Something that happened quite by chance, and is a different way of working to my usual people shots” says Airey. “With good light and good subject matter you’re 90 per cent there.”
This talk will give a sample of both people and architectural photos and is very much about photography in the commercial world and having to fulfil a working brief.
